Favorite Strain: Anything with Haze
Favorite way to consume: Old School J
Why I’m so passionate about Cannabis:
“I have had the chance to work with patients as they experienced their lowest of lows, breast cancer, opioid addiction, and panic attacks. I have experienced firsthand what cannabis can do to ease the pain, kick prescription drugs, and free people from debilitating ailments. I believe the true potential of cannabis and related compounds is far from fully uncovered."
DOUG CRIDER
CHEIF CULTIVATION OFFICER
Douglas C. Crider, Trinity Cannabis’ Chief Cultivation Officer, resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Doug honorably served in the United States Air Force for 22 years. Upon retiring from the military, Doug held several positions in both the Operations and Safety Department for one of the top food companies in the US for over 20 years. He led over 2,000 people, managed 400 facilities, and a fleet of 4,500 trucks. He was the liaison for all safety, occupational and environmental health programs.
Doug became passionate about cannabis after his wife was involved in a serious car accident in 2011, resulting in her breaking her pelvis and sacrum. Unable to tolerate pain meds, she began using cannabis to help heal her body. This life-changing event kickstarted his journey of collecting cannabis genetics from around the world, which opened the door to new relationships with the OG’s of growing and breeding.
His vision is to grow healthy, clean cannabis for people in need and to also teach them about the intricacies of each genotype. Doug is looking to share his experience with others and share the gospel of Jesus Christ to glorify His name through teaching others how to farm. It's his passion and purpose in his life! He seeks to improve the quality of life for the residents of his community by touching one life at a time.
Favorite Strains:
Doug’s favorite strains are old school Sativas – Old Timers Haze and a strain called “Black Seed”, which is a Mexican sativa that reminds him of his first smoking experience in the late 70s.

Why I’m so passionate about Cannabis:
“My passion for cannabis stems from deeply personal experiences with my family’s health struggles. Watching my father-in-law and mother-in-law battle cancer, I witnessed firsthand how cannabis provided them with relief from pain and improved their quality of life during such challenging times. Similarly, my sister-in-law's fight against Crohn’s disease opened my eyes to the therapeutic benefits of cannabis; it helped manage her symptoms and offered her a sense of normalcy amid the turmoil. These experiences have fueled my belief in the potential of cannabis as a compassionate, effective treatment, inspiring me to advocate for its broader acceptance and use in healthcare."
